The plan is simple:

1. Quit job, cancel apartment, sell furniture
2. Buy a camper van
3. Ship the van to the USA
4. Fly to New York (detour through Iceland)
5. Pick up van
6. Drive to Alaska
7. Go south until you can’t go any further

The plan requires some 50.000 km (31.000 mi) of driving and will go through at least 15 countries in about 14 months (or more depending on money, or less depending on the fun).
